HBO Max
Launched in May 2020, HBO Max is an Internet streaming platform for movies, TV shows, and other related video content provided by HBO and its parent company, WarnerMedia. Users can watch all HBO TV series through HBO Max, including shows like Game of Thrones and Westworld. Content from other WarnerMedia subsidiaries, like Cartoon Network, DC, Adult Swim, and Warner Bros. Pictures, is also available. HBO Max features exclusive original series and early access to theatrical films.
HBO Max replaced the channel's previous streaming services, HBO Go and HBO Now. These services were more limited, smaller-scale platforms that allowed HBO subscribers to access some content from the HBO channel while away from a home cable box.
Users can access the HBO Max service through an ad-free subscription or a cheaper ad-supported option. It can be streamed on up to five devices simultaneously, including iOS and Android smartphones, Internet browsers, smart TV devices, and video game consoles.
If you already have HBO through a cable or Internet TV provider, like Xfinity or YouTube TV, access to HBO Max may be included. Try logging into the HBO Max website using your information from one of these services to find out.
