Guillemot and Hercules
Established in 1982, Hercules Computer Technology Inc. can be credited for starting the PC graphics add-in board business. Today, Hercules specializes in digital audio equipment, headphones, and speakers, and has moved away from manufacturing sound cards and video cards.
Hercules is one of two flagship brands under parent company, Guillemot. The other brand is Thrustmaster, for gaming accessories.
Founded in 1984, Guillemot develops, manufactures, and distributes PC and console peripherals world wide. Guillemot is currently present in 10 different countries and distributes its products to 35 different countries.
