Hidden

In general, hidden refers to any text or other objects that are hidden from view. For example, on a Windows computer, files may be hidden to keep others from viewing them using the "Hidden" attribute on the file properties menu. To make a file truly hidden, a third-party application needs to be installed. Or, on a Unix-like system such as Linux, BSD (Berkeley Software Distribution), or macOS, permissions may be restricted so only the owner (you) can view the file.
