High Sierra may refer to any of the following:
1. High Sierra is a standard developed for CD-ROM (compact disc read-only memory) drives agreed to by manufacturers at the High Sierra Hotel & Casino in Lake Tahoe, CA. This standard in incorporated into operating systems including MS-DOS, Windows, Unix, Macintosh, and others. Today, the High Sierra standard is known as ISO 9660.
2. High Sierra is the codename of Apple macOS X 10.13, introduced at the WWDC (Worldwide Developer Conference) on June 5, 2017.
