In the game Icewind Dale, you will venture into the northernmost reaches of the forgotten realms, in a region known as Icewind Dale. In the game, you will battle such creatures as Ice Trolls, Giants, and Undead.
Play single player or with six other players over the LAN or Internet through the lands of Icewind Dale.
Players who have enjoyed Baldur's Gate or other similar D&D games will enjoy Icewind Dale.

Icewind Dale: Heart of Winter is the official expansion to the original Icewind Dale computer game. The expansion introduces a new campaign, which is accessible through a previously locked door in the town of Kuldahar or after completing the main campaign and adds a higher experience point cap, new items and spells and a new difficulty setting called "Heart of Fury".
The expansion provides hours of additional excitement and adventure and is highly recommended.
NOTE: There is also an expansion add-on pack for Heart of Winter, titled "Trials of the Luremaster", which is available as a free download.
