Computer Hope

I can't type in the search field of my computer Win11. I mean in the search field that is on the taskbar. However, I may type in the search fields of File Explorer, Notepad, Wordpad, and other docs as well.
When I hit the keys, letters don't appear in the task bar's search field. I have never encountered this kind of problem before.
