Computer Hope

Hello,

I removed the battery in an older laptop. (asus 17 x712).

Without a battery the laptop does not perform as well.   From reading this is due to the lack of power from the battery.

Is there any software or hardware hack that will bypass this?  Will connecting a higher powered adapter resolve the low voltage?

I no longer have the battery.
