Hi there,
I was trying lately to improve the FPS rate when playing Fornite and COD: modern warfare by changing some settings in the games by following some online guides such as this site https://www.bestsettings.com/guides/best-settings-for-fortnite/ and it has helped me to improve the gaming experience but there are more settings that they are suggesting to play with the windows settings. I was wondering if somebody more experienced can tell me if I change the settings as they are suggesting would that negatively influence the non-gaming performance?

Settings of fortnite, window Mode. Set this to Fullscreen, display resolution, set this to your monitor's native resolution, Frame Rate Limit. Go with unlimited or match this to your monitor's refresh rate. 3D resolution and set this to your monitor's native resolution, View distance, Shadows, Anti-Aliasing Textures.

what is the best display resolution ?? does anyone knows ?

The best resolution is (i think) the lowest but it's the worst for the graphics so i recommend to set the resolution as low as you can.
