It would work but I would definitely make the following changes:

  • Swap the power supply out for one from a reputable brand such as Corsair (Not the VS series), XFX, Seasonic.etc.  You don't need 800w though so can save money by getting something more reasonable such as 450-550w.
  • I'd recommend getting a motherboard with a better chipset such as a 970.  The 760G is an extremely old chipset that doesn't support modern technologies such as native USB 3.0 or Native SATA III.
  • Do you neeed Windows 7 Professional?  It's only really worth it if you are connecting to a corporate network and joining a domain, if you aren't doing this you can save money by going for Home Premium.

Alright thanks man, Im getting all this from newegg. The windows 7 Professional was the only option for OS besides 8.1 or 10 or i would have got Home Premium, and the only reason i got a 800w power supply was to be able to upgrade parts in the future but it seems im going to have to upgrade part(s) sooner than i expected. Is my processor good enough for a bit?

Thanks Camerongray.

What you may want to look at doing is getting it directly from Cyberpower - They will then let you change parts to get exactly what you want and will build it to order rather than you having to buy a substandard machine and later upgrade it.

For example, this: http://www.cyberpowerpc.com/saved/1H90Q6 - Almost the same price but with a much better power supply, motherboard and CPU cooler.  You can also tweak anything else you see there such as the case which comes largely down to personal preference.

alright man thanks ill definitely have to look into that.
