I've been using a Belkin N150 Wifi router for around 10 years and I finally decided I need a new Wifi router. I settled on the Netgear N750 Wifi router and the difference is amazing.  :o

  • No more dropped connections due to heavy Wifi traffic
  • DLNA for DLNA TVs & game consoles
  • Netgear genie mobile app and desktop software dashboard to monitor, control & repair your home network
  • ReadySHARE Printer - Wirelessly access & share a USB printer. Nice but not really necessary for most and there is only 1 USB port
  • Time Machine - Automatic Mac backup to a USB hard drive connected to the router (iOS users)
  • Plus more http://www.netgear.com/home/products/networking/wifi-routers/wndr4300.aspx
ReadySHARE USB 2.0 port - Use a portable USB drive as a media server for smart TVs and mobile devices. Remote access included to add/remove and view content. I use the Plex Media Server but my server for it is my laptop so it's not ideal to leave the laptop running to watch movies on my smart tv. ReadySHARE solves that because the Wifi router is always on anyway.

An $80 investment that I should have made years ago.

I guess you are choosing the right decision. Good luck.
