Printer has INK SYSTEM PROBLEM !!!!

I have a HP Officejet Pro 8600 Premium Printer.  Model No. N911n I just recently replaced the in cartridges with new cartridges Black #950 and CMY # 951. The printer was working great and printing color pictures that looked good but all of a sudden the printer stopped and displayed this message on the screen:

Printer Failure! There is problem with the printer or ink system. Turn printer off, then on. If problem persist contact HP.

I tried some solutions like lifting the arm that's along the printer head and slightly lifting the printer head, then moving it slightly from side to side. Then I tried restarting the Printer. I tried this solution several times as recommended but I still get the same message as before!?!?!  Is it possible that the ink cartridges are the problem?!?!?!?!?
