Computer Hope

I have 1 program that has to run within a date range.  I want to run in on a separate USB hard drive and keep the date from changing.  I need to set up the operating system in a former date in stall the program and then it  must never advance to the current date - so each time I boot up to the USB drive I need to change the date before It tells the operating system the current date - can I do this?
