I have never been compelled to brag about a headphone purchase but this is a quality pair of headphones for a reasonable price ($79.99). Also I feel like my research effort actually paid off!

There is also a pair of Soundcore Life Q20's but those are clunky and heavy. The Q30's are the answer to complaints from the Q20's.

My personal highlights:

Every pair of over ear headphones I have bought have claimed to be "noise cancelling" and I now know that is a highly abused marketing term. After wearing these for the first time I realized that the little fan in my room that I thought made almost no noise actually makes a lot of noise because when I took them off and came out of the isolated sound environment the little fan sounded like a car engine running.

'Transparency Mode' is amazing. Just touch your fingers to the right ear cup and it will turn off noise cancelling. Great for when someone starts talking to you.

I have been probably 30 to 35 feet away from my computer and their was no loss of connectivity, static, popping, etc.

USB-C charging and it is super fast compared to my old Mini USB charging headphones.

The app lets you chose from multiple levels of noise cancelling and keeps the firmware up to date.

Great sound from my computer, tablet and phone.

Side note. I stumbled on some headphone ear cup covers at Amazon a while back and now they are a must have addition. They add a little more cushion and help protect the foam material from degrading. They also have various types of headband covers.

Thanks, you too. I still pop in and out now and then. Just don't have much to say these days. :)
