Computer Hope

Hi everybody! Yes, I am still here and don't know anything more than I did before! Microsoft did an update on my computer. I use Google Chrome for the internet. I also have icons on my bar for Internet Explorer and Edge. Sometimes I need two different ways to get on the computer, like someone just sent me a code to enter into a certain block on their page. I open IE and go to my email, write down the number and then X out of it and put that number on the website that is asking for it. Now, when I click on IE, it immediately changes over to Edge. I don't want Edge, I don't like it that much. How can I get IE to reopen and not Edge?
