Launched in 2007, Indiegogo is a popular crowdfunding website that focuses on innovators, entrepreneurs, and independent filmmakers. Indiegogo provides users the option to collect donated money, regardless of whether or not the crowdfunding goal is met. Other similar services, like Kickstarter, do not give users that option.
