IP or intellectual property is the ideas, documents, and technologies conceived, developed, and created by an individual or organization. It is used in the context of the property's potential value. Intellectual property laws forbid the unauthorized use of intellectual property by anyone other than the inventor or IP holder.
The most common forms of intellectual property are patents, Copyrights, trademarks, and trade secrets. Examples of intellectual property are artwork, music, and company logos. The Computer Hope logo is considered intellectual property and is a registered trademark of Computer Hope.
