Jawbone
Founded on December 1, 1999, by Alexander Asseily and Hosain Rahman, Jawbone was a Bluetooth and wearable device manufacturer. Jawbone was primarily known for its Bluetooth headsets for smartphones, but also manufactured wearable devices, including wristbands and portable music players. Due to lack of market share and troubles over patent disputes with Fitbit, Jawbone announced it would be liquidating all assets starting in July 2017.
The Jawbone brand is currently managed by Aliph Brands.
