- One of the pioneers of the World Wide Web, started Hawaii's first web server at Honolulu Community College in May 1993.
- Joined EIT (Enterprise Integration Technologies) in Palo Alto, California as their webmaster.
- One of only six inductees in the World Wide Web Hall of Fame announced at the first international conference on the World Wide Web in 1994.
- Developed the "imagemap" and created one of the first campus websites, including novel (at the time) ideas such as a virtual tour of a campus museum.
- Developed seminal technologies for numerous commerce websites and designed the original public domain icons that come with the Apache HTTP Server.
