Short for kill yourself, KYS is an acronym sometimes used in SMS (short message service), gaming, chat, or other text-based communications as a way to tell another person they should commit suicide.
Using this term is a form of harassment and cyberbullying and should be avoided as it can result in you being banned or legally prosecuted. It's also possible that someone that is not in the right state of mind may even kill themself.
