A library may refer to any of the following:
1. In computer programming, a library refers to a collection of files, programs, routines, scripts, or functions that can be referenced in the programming code. These libraries are more complex than routines, optimized, and may even be designed by the same programmers behind the programming language.
2. In Windows 7, there are five default Libraries. Documents, Music, Pictures, and Videos. They contain links to each of these libraries for the user to have easy access to the contents of each library.
3. With data storage, a library refers to any managed collection of storage devices, often a collection of removable storage.
