LibriVox
Updated: 06/16/2017 by Computer Hope
Founded in 2005, LibriVox is an online archive containing free audiobooks. All LibriVox recordings are works in the public domain, read by volunteers. For example, users can listen to a volunteer read Mark Twain's "The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn," or Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's "The Memoirs of Sherlock Holmes." Audiobooks can be played directly from the website, or they can be downloaded and listened to later.
To date, Librivox has over 6,000 books and texts in their audio archive, and adds new audiobooks at a rate of about 90 per month.
