Merch is a shorthand term commonly used online in place of the word "merchandise." With online media, merch usually refers to branded apparel or products from a social media influencer, sold to fans via e-commerce websites. Merch is often on websites, such as YouTube and Twitch, where content creators sell items to their audience to help financially support their channel.
