MOS
MOS may refer to any of the following:
1. Short for Metal-Oxide-Semiconductor, MOS is a method of creating transistors. MOS consists of three layers, a metal conductor, insulating silicon layer, and a semiconductor silicon layer.
2. With certifications, MOS is short for "Microsoft Office Specialist" and is anyone who has passed three or more exams for the following Microsoft programs.
- Microsoft Word
- Microsoft Excel
- Microsoft PowerPoint
- Microsoft Outlook
- Microsoft Access
- Microsoft SharePoint
- Microsoft OneNote
To become a MOS expert, you must have completed two of the expert exams in one of the programs mentioned earlier.
