PC card

A PC card is an electronic device, about the size of a credit card, that stores data. These cards were developed to be used with many devices, such as portable computers and digital cameras, but currently, their primary use in laptop computers. The term PC card is used with the term PCMCIA to help prevent confusion due to the length of the acronym. The image is an example of a wireless network PC card.
