Phone connector

A phone connector may refer to any of the following:
1. When describing a landline or a telephone, a phone connector is a connector for connecting a telephone or modem to the landline. For example, in the United States, the RJ-11 connector is used as a phone connector to make phone calls.
2. When describing an audio cable, a phone connector is a term used to descrive the plug used today to transmit audio signals. For example, many headphones that are not wireless or USB (universal serial bus) use a type of phone connector. See our Mini Plug page for further information on this connector.
