Photoshop Dark Strokes
Dark Strokes or Photoshop Dark Strokes adds short dark and long light strokes in an X to darken and lighten areas, respectively. Its parameters are balance (ratio of dark to light), black intensity, and white intensity.
It differs from the Angled Strokes filter which uses the original images colors in its strokes and from Crosshatch which adds a hatching texture. Dark Strokes uses black and white to darken and lighten, creating a higher, thick contrast.
Dark Strokes work on 8-bit, RGB (red, green, and blue), grayscale, and Multichannel images, and Smart Objects. These filters are part of the Filter Gallery, and launch another window with options.
Dark Strokes are part of Adobe Photoshop's Extended Filters.
