Photoshop Wave

Wave or Photoshop Wave shifts the pixels in a defined wave pattern. Its parameters are:

  • type (sine, triangle, or square)
  • number of generators
  • wavelength (min and max)
  • amplitude (min and max)
  • scale (horizontal and vertical)
  • what to do with the undefined areas (wrap around or repeat edge pixels).

Wave works on 8 Bit, 16 Bit, 32 Bit, RGB (red, green, and blue), grayscale, CMYK (cyan, magenta, yellow, and key), and Multichannel images, and Smart Objects. This filter launches another window with options.

Wave is part of Adobe Photoshop's Extended Filters.
