Pop-up menu

Alternatively called a context menu and shortcut menu, a pop-up menu is a menu that is hidden and doesn't appear until you right-click. This menu is often called a context menu because the options in the menu often relate to what was right-clicked. For example, in Microsoft Word, if text was highlighted and then right-clicked, a shortcut menu similar to the example below would appear. This shortcut menu gives you quick access to all the most common features that relate to text, such as cut, copy, font properties, etc.
