Quit
Updated: 06/30/2020 by Computer Hope
Quit means ending a session or program by purposely closing the application. For example, typing quit in an FTP command line and then pressing the Enter quits the session.
Tip
When quitting a program in a GUI (graphical user interface), like Windows, it's more appropriate to say you're closing a program.
Tip
In command line commands, programs, and scripts, pressing Q and then Enter is used to quit.
