Relative location

The term relative location describes the location of a person or place in relation to another object or place. Relative location is determined by cost, time, or distance. For example, you could map the distance from Salt Lake City, Utah to the Computer History Museum in California. The relative location would be either 767.7 miles or 11 hours 40 minutes of travel time, as shown in the image below.
