  • Chairman Emeritus of Harman International Industries, Inc. and one of the most prominent figures in the consumer electronics industry in the 20th century.
  • He and his partner Bernard Kardon made the Festival D1000, the world's first integrated hi-fi receiver. Harman and Kardon founded Harman Kardon in 1953.
