SPD may refer to any of the following:
1. Short for Serial Presence Detection, SPD is a ROM (Read-Only Memory) chip found on memory modules for reporting the memory's properties, such as the size, speed, etc. SPD allows the BIOS (Basic Input/Output System) to detect memory information easier.
2. SPD is a file extension for a scalable font file.
