- Led the engineering effort in the development of IBM's STRETCH "supercomputer," (1962) -- two years before the introduction of the legendary IBM System/360.
- Assisted in the development of a top-secret IBM computer that decoded and intercepted enemy radio messages during World War II.
- Helped in the design of many calculators, including the IBM-502-A, the 603 and the 604, and the Card-Programmed Calculator, known as the CPC.
