System folder

Used by the operating system to store files necessary for proper function, a system folder is the primary location for DLL (dynamic-link library) files. Two of the most common system folders are the c:\Windows\System32 folder for the 32-bit version of Windows and c:\Windows\SysWOW64 for the 64-bit version. These folders are the primary location for system files.
