Term
Term may refer to any of the following:
1. In general, a term is a word, phrase, or expression made up of many words to describe a thing or concept. For example, a computer mouse is a computer-related term (terminology) that describes a hardware input device used with the computer.
Why should I learn computer terms?
When dealing with computers, it's important to be familiar with the terminology used to better understand computers and interact with other computer users. For example, someone could call their monitor or computer the "CPU" (central processing unit) when unfamiliar with what a CPU is in the computer. If they had a problem with their monitor turning on and searched for "CPU not turning on," they'd find many results not relating to their problem.

2. With an agreement, terms are the list of what is agreed upon. For example, with terms of sale, the terms describe what the buyer and seller agree to when completing the purchase. For example, when selling a computer, the terms of sale may be that the buyer agrees they cannot return the computer as one of the terms.
