Texel

Updated: 11/16/2019 by Computer Hope

Short for texture element, a texel is part of a 3-D graphic that helps create the texture of the 3-D object, like pixels creating a picture. However, unlike a pixel, a texel can be viewed at any angle depending on the camera position on a 3-D object.
