Founded in 1990 through the merger of Warner Communications and Time Inc., WarnerMedia (formerly AOL Time Warner and Time Warner) is an American multinational media corporation based out of New York City.

WarnerMedia is the world's third-largest television network and filmed TV & entertainment company in terms of revenue and was once the world's largest media conglomerate. It consists of three divisions: Warner Bros., HBO (Home Box Office Inc.), and Turner Broadcasting System, Inc.

Its subsidiaries include HBO, CNN, DC Comics, New Line Cinema, Turner Broadcasting System, The CW Television Network, Warner Bros., Kids' WB, Cartoon Network, Boomerang, Adult Swim, Warner Bros. Animation, Hanna-Barbera, Castle Rock Entertainment, and Cartoon Network Studios.

Time Warner changed its name to WarnerMedia in June 2018, when AT&T acquired it.
