Quickly add shortcuts to the Start menu

Microsoft Windows 8 and Windows 10 users can quickly add program icons to their Start menu by right-clicking the program icon and selecting Pin to Start.

Windows XP, Windows Vista, and Windows 7 users can quickly add icons to their Start menu by dragging icons to the Start button.
