A tower may refer to any of the following:
1. A computer case which arranges the internal components vertically. Towers are a common style of case design because they allow heat to rise and escape more easily, while also providing easy access to components in the computer. There are various sizes of towers. The picture shows an example of a standard or midsize tower case used with the Dell Precision 390 (courtesy of Dell Inc.). Other types of tower cases include the mini tower, which is smaller than a midsized tower, and the full-sized tower, which is taller and feature more expansion bays.
2. A tower may also refer to a cell tower.
