The company is located in Bensheim, Germany, and represents sub-brands such as DataStation, MovieStation, vibez, and i.Beat. TrekStor is a well-known brand of digital media players in Germany.
In July 2009 the company was purchased by Hong-Kong-based Telefield International Holdings Limited. The companies website went offline in early 2022 and never returned. It's assumed the company is no longer in business.
