Virtual office
Updated: 05/01/2023 by Computer Hope
A virtual office is a business with a physical mailing address, but does not operate out of a fixed location. Essentially, employees come together to conduct or discuss business digitally, rather than meeting physically at a building every day. An example of a virtual office is a company that only exists on the Internet and whose employees work remotely.
With the popularity of mobile technologies like laptops, smartphones, and tablets, and solutions like teleconferencing and videoconferencing, virtual offices are more prolific than ever. These devices allow people to conduct business almost anywhere in the world without needing to relocate or leave their homes.
