Wank may refer to any of the following:
1. Short for Worms Against Nuclear Killers, WANK is a computer worm, first detected in 1989, that attacked DEC (Digital Equipment Corporation) VMS (virtual memory system) computers over DECnet protocols. The worm displayed the political message "You talk of times of peace for all, and then prepare for war." after the computer was infected. The worm also went through several messages falsely indicating it was deleting files. However, the worm was capable of changing .COM files to create new and modify existing accounts with a different, randomly generated password.
2. Wank is a slang term for masturbation.
3. Wank describes a person or object that is bad, obscene, or offensive.
