A Watson may refer to any of the following:

1. Watson may refer to the former IBM CEO Thomas Watson or his son Thomas Watson, Jr.

2. When describing a supercomputer, IBM Watson is a cognitive supercomputer developed by IBM that answers questions posed in natural language. The project team was initially led by David Ferrucci with the intention of being able to answer questions on the quiz show Jeopardy. In 2011, Watson competed on Jeopardy! and won first place against Brad Rutter and Ken Jennings.

Today, the goal of Watson is to interact in natural human terms across a range of applications, understand the questions asked, and provide answers that are understood. Since its initial development, IBM Watson has been used in healthcare, cooking, teaching assistance, fashion, taxes, weather advertising, and as a chatbot.

3. When describing a place, the Thomas J. Watson Research Center is the headquarters for IBM Research, comprised of three different sites. Its main facility is in Yorktown Heights and Albany, New York, and has offices in Cambridge, Massachusetts.

4. When describing older software, Watson may describe Dr. Watson, an early Microsoft software debugger.
