WBEM

Short for Web-based Enterprise Management, WBEM is a model for developing open technologies for managing each component that makes up a network. WBEM consists of three parts: the Common Interface Model, and both the xmlCIM Encoding and CIM (common information model) Operations over HTTP (hypertext transfer protocol) specifications.
