Wetware
Updated: 11/12/2023 by Computer Hope
Wetware describes a biological life form's internal components as if they were that of a computer. In this context, "hardware" refers to the brain, and "software" or "code" is analogous to intelligent thoughts.
Note
The "wet" part of wetware comes from the fact that biological entities are made up of mostly water.
