Wing

Developed at the X laboratory in 2014, Wing is a service owned by Google that delivers packages using drones. In April 2019, Wing was approved and began operation in select locations in Virginia and Australia. Wing delivers products short distances from local retailers in these areas that sell lightweight products, like fast food and over-the-counter drugs. In the first quarter of 2022 alone, Wing made over 50,000 deliveries worldwide.
