Originally known as Yahooligans!, Yahoo! Kids was a modified version of the Yahoo! website with a focus on kid-friendly, educational content. The website was launched in 1996, however, Yahoo! wanted to focus on other projects. Yahoo! Kids, and other Yahoo! projects, were shut down in 2013.
