Zoom slider
A zoom slider may refer to any of the following:
1. In Microsoft Office products, like Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, a zoom bar or zoom slider is available for zooming in and out of documents quickly and easily. The zoom slider is usually in the lower right corner of the software window and should resemble the picture on this page. See our Microsoft Word overview picture for a visual example of the zoom slider location.
2. Using jQuery programming language and CSS (cascading style sheets) scripting, a zoom slider similar to that found in Microsoft Office products can also be created. Providing a zoom slider on a web page gives users a quick and easy way to zoom in and out of a web page.
3. Zoom Slider is the name of a web-based slideshow utility, written purely in the JavaScript language programming. This slideshow feature enables you to zoom in and out, insert HTML (hypertext markup language) captions for images, view thumbnail images, and use navigation controls. Zoom Slider works with most major browsers, including Firefox, Google Chrome, Safari, and Opera.
