An address may refer to any of the following:
1. With computer data storage, an address points to where data may be accessed.
2. With computer networks, an address refers to an IP address or other unique network identification.
3. On the Internet, an address is a synonym for a web address. An example of a web address is the Computer Hope's, which is: https://www.computerhope.com/. 4. In general, an address refers to the physical location of a building. You can find our PO Box address on the Computer Hope company page.
5. When writing in HTML (HyperText Markup Language), the <address> tag is used to specify the contact information of an owner or author.
