Bootmgr

Updated: 01/31/2023 by Computer Hope

Bootmgr is the Windows boot sequence manager introduced in Windows Vista. It replaces the NTLDR (NT loader) boot manager in previous versions of Windows. Bootmgr reads the BCD (Boot Configuration Data) that replaced the boot.ini and displays the operating system selection menu.
